Guildford Borough Council requires the appointment of a cleaning service organisation to meet the needs across the estates and communal areas for a period of three (3) years initially and a possible 12 (2) months extensions. This is an ever changing and developing organisation, over term of the contract there are likely to be changes to the areas in which cleaning services are to be provided and hence changes/additions to the specification. Some of these changes may be significant, Guildford Borough Council are looking for the contractor to work with them and be flexible and adaptable over the course of the contract, so we are able to respond to changes in Customer choices and support our asset management strategy.

Lot Structure The tender is structured as three lots as follows: Lot 1 – Window Cleaning – Cleaning of office buildings, tenanted buildings, listed buildings and high-rise buildings. Lot 2 – General Cleaning – General cleaning of sport pavilions, office cleaning and cleaning of specialist premises such as Guildford Crematorium. Lot 3 – Window & General Cleaning – Full delivery of the services described under Lot 1 and 2. *Please note: GBC reserves the right to not award any of the lots under this tender.
